Abroad Films at British Arrows 2025: sponsorship, celebration, and a silver for TUI

Three ways Abroad Films took part in British Arrows 2025. From sponsorship to silver.

Mar 31, 2025

Abroad Films proudly sponsored the British Arrows 2025, presented a key award on stage, and celebrated TUI’s Silver win for Safety: A Global Film, a project we serviced in Bulgaria. A night to remember in the world of commercial filmmaking.

Supporting excellence in commercial filmmaking

Abroad Films was proud to take the spotlight at British Arrows 2025, the most prestigious award ceremony in the commercial film industry. Known for championing the very best in creativity, craft, and storytelling, British Arrows has been a cornerstone of moving image advertising since 1976. This year, Abroad Films had the honor of sponsoring a key category, presenting on stage, and celebrating a major recognition for a project we serviced.

Sponsoring the Best Over 30 & Up To & Including 90 Second Commercial Category

We were proud sponsors of the Best Over 30 & Up To & Including 90 Second Commercial category. Our very own Attila Horváth took the stage at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London to present the award. The Gold went to Sweet Suspicion for Waitrose, crafted by a top-tier team: Saatchi & Saatchi, SMUGGLER, tenthree, Harbor Picture Company, and 750mph, directed by Lucy Forbes.

Recognizing work at this level is what British Arrows is all about, and we’re proud to be part of that tradition.

TUI's Silver-Winning Project: Serviced by Abroad Films in Bulgaria

The celebration didn’t stop at sponsorship. Abroad Films was also behind the scenes on TUI’s Safety: A Global Film, which earned a Silver Award in the Travel & Tourism category.

Shot in Bulgaria and serviced by Abroad Films for Missing Link Films, the project was the result of powerful collaboration with an all-star team:

  • Production Company: Missing Link Films

  • Creative Agency: Leo Burnett London

  • Client: TUI

  • Director: Alicia MacDonald

  • Director of Photography: Benedict Spence

A Night to Remember

British Arrows 2025 was not just about awards, it was about honoring the work, the people, and the partnerships that make this industry what it is. The ceremony, the conversations, it was a celebration of what happens when creativity meets craft.

We’re grateful to have played multiple roles this year: as sponsor, as collaborator, and as a proud service provider.

See you next year.
